Research areas
My research activities focus on the study of organic matter dynamics in the environment: transfers from plant to soil/sediments/solution and evolution in a changing environment (natural and anthropogenic changes). This research is based on the characterisation of the organic matter pools and of the transformation processes using specific molecular and isotopic markers.
For this research, I use stable isotope techniques (13C labelling technique) and biomarkers of the organic matter origin and degradation (phenols, lipids, sugars…)

Analytical techniques
Organic matter biomarkers extraction and purification from various matrices (soil, sediments, plants). Stable isotopic geochemistry (δ13C), isotopic analyses of organic molecules and bulk (GC-C-IRMS, EA-IRMS), gas chromatography, elemental analyses C and N, spectrophotometry.
Teaching experience
Université de Bourgogne, Dijon (France), in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department (ETEC), around 230 hours/year from the 1st to the 5th year.
Supervisor of postgraduate labwork.
