30th anniversary of the Ethological Society
In 2008, the Ethological Society has its 30th anniversary. As a celebration, we would invite the first Niko Tinbergen Award winners of the society, who are now established scientists: Carel ten Cate, Theo Bakker, Anne-Kathrin Eggert, Claus Wedekind and Martin Wikelski. We will ask them to present their current research, to show the diversity of topics and methods that are used by members of the Ethological Society. Four of the five scientists have already given positive reply to a first request.
