Arriving to Dijon by train

high speed trainDijon is a lively city (nearly 150.000 inhabitants) situated 310 km (186 miles) south east of Paris. It is served by the high speed trains (TGV) that will take you from Paris to Dijon in only 90 minutes.

  • from Paris: 1 h 35, one train every hour, i.e. 20 TGV in each direction every day (warning: train station in Paris to go to Dijon is named "Paris Gare de Lyon")
  • from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (one of the two main Paris airports): 1 h 45, 2 times a day
  • from Lyons: TGV connection, 2 h every 2 h
  • from Geneva: less than 2 h
  • from Marseille and Nïmes (3 h 20), from Montpellier (3 h: Mediterranean TGV)
  • Rhine-Rhone TGV: Dijon 1 hour away from Mulhouse and Belfort, 1 h 40 from Strasbourg, 1 h 30 from Basle and 4 h 10 from Zurich

When arriving to Dijon train station, take bus number 1 (station Gare SCNF) that will drive you directly to the University Campus, close to the symposium venue (station Fac. Mirande).
