We would like to welcome you to the official website for the 4th biennial European Conference on Behavioural Biology, to be held in Dijon, France, from July 18-20, 2008.

Dijon sits at the tip of the Côte d'Or wine region, and boasts a colorful collection of churches, abbeys, museums, and lively sidewalk cafes. Dijon's historical legacy is the envy of all. In terms of the number, density and quality of the houses and mansions to be found in the old town, Dijon possesses one of the most urban beautiful architectures in France. This extraordinary ensemble is contained within the 96-hectare (240-acre) protected area corresponding to the old city limits. The original walls were demolished in the 19th century and replaced by boulevards.

tiles Burgundy has an excellent reputation for good food and fine wines. Dijon has numerous bars and restaurants, several of which are within 15 min walk from the venue. A guide presenting a large range of prices and food style will be provided on arrival.

The University of Burgundy is one of France's largest institutions of higher learning, with about 26 000 students. Research on behaviour has a long tradition at the University of Burgundy. At present, three major CNRS research units are developping research in the field of animal and human behaviour.
