Research interests
My research activity covers many aspects of evolutionary biology. Currently, my projects focus on
- the evolution of life history traits with special emphasis on the evolution of aging
- the evolutionary ecology of avian malaria (using both lab experiments and epidemiological surveys)
- the evolution of immune regulation (using both birds and mammals as model species)
